First thanks for your great interest on our First issue of our Korean Insight.
I do appreciate very much on you responses/feedbacks/supports/commendations. In return, I will try to endeavor to fulfill your ideas. Also I am glad that thanks to our last newsletter I was able to interact with many professionals in TMT sector globally. I do hope this News Letter can keep its words as being the Window to Korean Technology/Media/Telecom sector.

Duty of loading WIPI is released, is iPhone really comming to Korea?

WIPI is the wireless internet platform only used in Korean market, so global company such as Nokia, Apple, and RIM doesn¡¯t load WIPI on their phones.

From next April, phones not loading WIPI, Korean Wireless Internet Standard Platform, such as Apple¡¯s iPhone and RIM¡¯s Blackberry could be sold in Korean market. Korean Communications Commisions announced that they will release the duty of loading WIPI on mobile phone in Korean market.

Also last month US Media company, Lifetime Networks acquired Roiworld(www.roiworld.com) which is famous for its fashion game targeting teenager girls.
